Jaw Tension or TMJ and Massage

One of the more subtle issues I frequently encounter is jaw tension.

Jaw tension affects the surrounding tissues, bones, and ligaments, similar to other areas of the body.

Many don't notice  jaw tension or pain, but they often experience related symptoms such as tension headaches, neck discomfort, and recurring earaches or a sensation of fluid in the ear.

Identifying whether your headache stems from jaw tension is typically straightforward, leading to targeted therapy.

I have been assisting people with these concerns for years and personally experience them as well. Addressing jaw tension and its complications can often be achieved by focusing on the front of the neck, jaw, and the connective tissues and muscles in the head. This may also include massage inside the mouth. Don't worry, I wear gloves! Most clients notice significant improvements quickly. While some may require ongoing support, others may resolve their issues in a single session. Additionally, I can provide stretches to empower clients in managing their condition and reducing the likelihood of recurrence.
